BSO Musicians Perform at the Pratt Library at Penn North

On Monday, March 14th, 13 BSO musicians performed Handel’s Water Music at the Penn North branch of the Enoch Pratt Library.  This is the first of three informal concerts.

The epicenter of last year’s unrest was at the location of this library.  The CVS across the street that was vandalized is newly reopened as are other businesses in the area. The BSO Musicians are excited to bring music into this community as a symbolic gift of healing in the midst of rebirth.

Listen here to bit of the March 14th performance.

Take time to join us for the next installment of this outreach project – Monday April 11 at 3:30 We’ll be playing Bach’s Orchestral Suite #1.  See you there!
