BSO percussionist Brian Prechtl is one of five winners of the Ford Musician Award for Excellence in Community Service. The League of American Orchestras has for the first time selected five musicians from professional orchestras large and small across the U.S, and has honored them for their devotion to causes in their communities. Brian has worked extensively with BSO’s OrchKids for the past seven years and he is absolutely passionate about bringing the joy of music to the OrchKids.
